These include: spent last Christmas at 56 Owego St. in Cortland (velvet Christmas jumper with striped shirt), large tree on the porch ground floor and an apartment Littler in our apartment, since (Port Byron) have all the dolls with “real” hair and eyes that open and close the house dresses (a picture of the scale – high to low), since we Snippy type black and white terrier dog that wassmuggled in some way and spent the night in the bedroom of my parents until I heard a whining and scratching, which can intercept and find a Christmas doll pilgrim teetering on the edge of the table (it was my sister Sue, I was none left but to come) are allowed to open one gift on Christmas Eve (I chose most of New York – our aunt Mary had a taste so great and always took our dimensions right).
Also, after marrying Christmas – our first Christmas together Pharris Street, Camilo received Christmas presents all wrapped by the hand and highly developed, which was also the first Christmas Carol that I was, when Camilo Methodist Church choircame and sang our apartment upstairs, and I looked out the window, knowing that it was not for us.
Christmas has always been magic in the conquest! We moved our young family in 1965 – our first Christmas tree grazed the roof of the 9-foot family room – what fun to decorate. She was the center of the room – there was a perfect tree, there was no “wrong” side, and suspended all the lights and ornaments. I recently heard a great story of our children. Our youngest daughter, Becky, just heard on the bus “No Santa Claus is a fake” brothers and sisters conspired to keep the story alive for another year of youth. The game of the girls had a dining table where Kris surprised, “Becky, look, is one of Santa’s elves sneak into the window to see if you are good!” Becky ran to the window and it was a little person hooded, smile ups on the roof of the veranda. He jumped up and down, and Kris hit the stairs to tell the boys. They barely had time to sit down to do their job applications – his face was a little clearer when told of a life-size doll was dressed in an old hat and snowsuit hung c ‘ is wrapped up the room “observations.” window. The scope of our church Christmas has acquired legendary status – to provide a Christmas for a family of seven, from scratch 15 on Christmas Eve! Our pastor, the Rev. Greg Dyke, raise a family, no trees, no presents very little food. I called my sister’s house in Port Byron. I made some phone calls – “Of course you can cut a tree and had many ornaments” (Ruben s) “, I propose that our children will not fail, even” (from the hills, Reichs, Candes and Klotches, Lulu Rose Hurlbutt McDuffee homemade cakes and chips and candy). Ed John and the market has been incredibly generous, and DB Blake and Pharmacy equipment (which is preparing to close). What a wonderful Christmas gift itwas!
And New Year’s traditions: one year, several young couples gathered in the Reich and had the good idea to celebrate the new year. I asked permission Rev. Dan Benedict and at midnight, went to church conquest, called Star of the Year (12 times) and New Year (12 times). There may be some who remember hearing the bells around the church in the center that day, starry night!
Happy New Year – have a great 2012. We are very pleased this year to celebrate our wedding anniversary 50. Wow!
